Head of Voice at University of Chichester Conservatoire, Susan combines a busy performing and teaching career, in one of the largest and liveliest music departments in the UK, working as module co-ordinator for the BMus Vocal Performance course, a tutor on the Advanced Course and as an ensemble coach and mentor to the vocal students. She collaborates and curates some of the university concerts and oversees the vocal health welfare of the vocal students.

She has taught on International Summer Schools and gives masterclasses around the country.

In her role as a tutor, Susan has guided private pupils through their ABRSM qualifications and helped to equip singers for further conservatoire study.
